- The Pit is rebuilt by hand as the resistance's training floor: rubber mats and painted lanes, padded emitter pylons, crash barriers, weapon racks, dummies, and a freight lift up to the Tap.
- Tap regulars watch from the gallery rail. They get restless during a wave and cheer when you clear it.
- Rook's scoreboard follows your run: the wave you're on, how many foes are left, CLEAR and RUN OVER, and the wave waiting for you when you come back.
- Waves are projected in: the rig's heads throw beams at the ring and a scan column rises before they arrive.
- The floor stays calm and evenly lit, so enemy attack markers always read clearly.
